"Pretty Women on the Run" is a crime comedy about the adventures of a police officer and a grumpy witness for the prosecution who became partners unwittingly.
Rose Cooper, the daughter of a sheriff from San Rosario, diligently serves in the archives of the department and dreams of a dangerous mission. The heroine’s dreams come true when the authorities have to trust her with the protection of an important witness - the wife of Texas crime boss. Filipe Riva agreed to surrender the influential drug lord, therefore, together with his wife Daniela, they are now guarded by the police.
Officer Cooper vows to carry out the assignment and escort the Mexican beauty to Dallas, but the henchmen of the drug mafia make their corrections to the police plans. Before the trip, the hired killers kill Filipe Riva and his guard, an FBI agent. Getting out of the shelling, the brave lady-cop decides not to cancel the dangerous business trip and deliver the flighty, aging Daniel to the destination. It soon turns out that the fragile women are threatened not only by angry mafiosi, but also by corrupt colleagues Rose.
