The protagonist of the biographical film is one of the most prominent pillars of Nazi Germany. Reinhard Heydrich - the only political leader of the Third Reich, who took the highest post at the age of twenty-nine years. The son of an opera singer lived an unusual life full of contradictions. The fact that he chose to marry a village teacher over a wedding with the daughter of a rich military industrialist cost him a career in the navy. But the young man with an iron grip joins the Nazi party and instantly gains the authority of an implacable fighter against ideological opponents. After Hitler came to the reign of Heydrich, he became his closest ally and the right hand of Reichsführer SS Himmler. Soon, he was trusted by the leadership of the criminal police and the Gestapo. On the conscience of this leader is the creation of the first concentration camps and the implementation of the program for the extermination of Jews across Europe. The Nazi "with an iron heart" would have done a lot more evil if it were not for the Czech patriots who, after a long preparation, caused Reinhard a wound that had become fatal.
