This is one of the greatest achievements of mankind in history from the beginning to our days. At a distance of more than 12 billion miles, a tiny spacecraft is the departure of our solar system and the emptiness of space is the first object created by man who ever did it. Launched in August 1977, Voyager challenged all odds, survived countless misses, and almost 40 years later continues to translate revolutionary information to unimaginable distances with less computing power than a modern hearing aid. It is estimated that Voyager's is a nuclear generator. But this little ship will travel for millions of years, carrying records of the "Golden Record" and images of life on Earth. It can well survive mankind and our creations.
