Starting to watch the dramatic movie “Damn Handsome”, the viewer gets into a typical Irish high school, where teenagers who are very different from the majority or are eccentric, always become outcasts. Here the strengthened sports culture is supported by traditional values that do not tolerate individualism and bright charisma. This situation turns out to be Ned, a teenager, who was isolated from the team because of his unusual views.
Nobody is friends with Ned. In the classroom, he sits distantly from classmates. It comes to the fact that Ned lives alone in the room of a boarding school. At this time in his life appears Conor, a star athlete, keen on rugby. Conor identifies the room to Ned. Both do not show joy and are confident that this will not end with anything good. At first, different young people come into conflict. Soon, however, Conor realizes that it is foolish to feel hatred towards a person who does not show hatred towards him. He realizes that Neda was made an outcast only because of his differences from the rest.
