"Lady in the van" - the story of a homeless old woman who lived in an old car. She took a fancy to one street and quarterly stopped under the windows of one of the houses. Every morning, residents were waking up in a cold sweat at the thought that today a yellow booth of a recluse woman would be parked opposite their windows. But one day, staying at the house of a famous writer, she broke the tradition and remained its neighbor for 15 years. Provost neighborhood became his source of inspiration.
The film "Lady in the van" - a film steeped in England. Locations, humor, mentality - everything, what a remarkable country. The reverse side of primness and politeness is colorfully shown. After all, when it comes to the pious ritual of greeting the neighbors, then the glorified English tolerance disappears without a trace. Comical and repulsive at the same time showed a prim lady who could not overcome her disgust and did not give a hand to the old woman. The true edge is demonstrated at the moment when a medical worker helps a homeless lady to get into a wheelchair.
